About Us

About Us

Dedicated to Compassionate Care for Animals

We operate a licensed, small-scale, no-kill rescue focused on helping homeless, injured, or surrendered cats and kittens. We also accept surrendered dogs and rescue dogs from kill shelters. While state regulations require stray dogs to go through animal control, we step in to assist with medical care in the community whenever we're financially able. Our commitment to animal welfare aims to make a positive impact on both pets and people in our community.

Our History

Our History

Our History

Over Two Decades of Compassion and Care

Since 2003, when a group of dedicated volunteers established our 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal rescue, Fur A Good Paws has been committed to making a difference in the lives of homeless pets. For over 21 years, we've been supported 100% by generous donations and operated solely by passionate volunteers. From our humble beginnings, we've grown into a vital part of the community, achieving countless successes in rescuing animals and finding them loving forever homes.
